The Art of Custom: Who We are at RUMMELL

Crafted with Care, Rooted in Community

Welcome to RUMMELL Jewelry, a legacy spanning 80 years, nestled right here in the heart of Ken-Caryl, Colorado. As a locally owned and operated studio, our purpose has always been about more than just jewelry; it’s about the connections we build. We specialize in bringing your unique visions to life through custom design, a process we meticulously manage entirely in-house. We couple old-world experience with the latest innovations in technology, which allows us to digitally create, share, and refine every detail ensuring the final design is exactly what our clients envision. Our team is dedicated to understanding, communicating, and working together with you, to create meaningful pieces that express your individuality.

Our Legacy

RUMMELL Jewelry is a continuing legacy that began in 1945 when a WWII veteran named Charlie Glasmann opened a custom jewelry studio and repair shop on 16th St. in Denver, CO. John Hanson continued that legacy from 1973 until Drew Rummell was fortunate enough to apprentice from John and purchase the store in 2011.

Drew and Kammie

Drew and Kammie Rummell lead a family business built on relationships, innovation, and unwavering creativity.

Drew’s journey into the world of custom jewelry began unexpectedly. After graduating from Regis University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, he always envisioned owning a business and was fascinated by technology. When the time came to propose to Kammie, he commissioned his wedding set from local jeweler John Hanson. A few years later, as John prepared for retirement, a chance conversation after church led to Drew purchasing Glasmann and Hanson Jewelry. Part of their agreement included John mentoring Drew, a bond that has endured. To this day, Drew’s four children affectionately call John “Uncle John,” a testament to the strong, familial ties that define us.

Every piece at RUMMELL is a labor of love, designed and crafted in-house in our Ken-Caryl studio. Our true passion lies in the people we work alongside the clients for whom we create lasting keepsakes.

Nicole Muhammad

Nicole (Nikki) attended the University of Florida for her bachelor’s degree & then attended the University of Northern Colorado for her graduate degree in Special Education. After more than a decade as a teacher in Colorado teaching special needs children, Nikki decided to pursue self-employment in 2018. She decided to use her natural abilities of instructing, organization, and a sense of style, to start an organizing and fashion consulting business and personal training instructor. Through a community connection, Nikki was introduced to Drew to explore the idea of creating a line of jewelry for her to sell to her consulting clients. After some success with that line, it was clear that working together directly with RUMMELL would be a good fit and Nikki began working as a jewelry concierge and business relationship manager in 2022. She has a wonderful sense for design and is a great communicator, often building friendships with her clients as she walks with them through their various projects. As a concierge jeweler, she works to meet with her clients when and where it is most convenient for them. Reach out to her at Nikki@RUMMELLjewelry.com and set up an appointment to see what ideas she has for you.

Stephanie Olson

A proud Colorado native, Stephanie earned her molecular biology degree from CU Boulder, dedicating seven years to cytogenetics at the Colorado Genetics Laboratory. In 2016, she embraced a new chapter as a stay-at-home mom, also serving part-time with the non-profit Walk With Me, supporting families after pregnancy loss.

Stephanie’s passion for custom jewelry ignited when RUMMELL transformed her late grandmother’s heirloom collection into meaningful pieces for her family. This deeply personal experience, followed by redesigning her own wedding set with her late mother’s jewelry, revealed her gift for blending sentiment with contemporary style. Now at RUMMELL, Stephanie excels at connecting with clients, helping them design fashionable, personalized jewelry that honors their unique stories and heritage.

Chelsea Battan

Chelsea grew up in Golden, Colorado and began a career in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a preschool teacher for 16 years where she met Nikki and started a lifelong friendship. As she transitioned into being a full time stay at home mom, Nikki kept her in the loop with all that she was doing with Rummell. As Chelsea has always had a passion for jewelry, it wasn’t long before she decided to join the team to pursue her love for design!

Chelsea loves to think of jewelry as a beautiful piece of history. It tells us where you’ve been, where you are, and where you are going. Each piece tells a story of your life, a legacy to pass down. Memories made and lives lived.

Chelsea lives with her husband and their two daughters in Roxborough where they love being surrounded by nature and adventure. She spends her free time with her children, fostering puppies, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends. Chelsea is excited to work with you and help design your perfect piece!
